Statement from DART Executive Vice President/General Manager Victor Burke on December 11 bus accident

"We extend our sympathy to the family involved in this tragic accident.

"In addition to our own investigation, DART is working with the Dallas Police Department to determine the exact cause of the accident.

"Safety is DART's highest priority. We appreciate the confidence 175,000 customers show daily in DART and assure them of our commitment to their safety."
